In the beginning of February, Alex Warren gave us a snippet of his newest unreleased song “Fever Dream.” It blew up on TikTok not even an hour later, and people started using the song to make all kinds of edits from different fandoms. 

This kept happening for days, which turned to weeks, until, finally Warren decided he was going to release the full song early. After waiting very impatiently for three more days, the fans finally got what they were begging for on Feb. 27. 

Within 2 hours, the song has gotten 76,455 saves. Warren’s most popular song is “Ordinary,” but the way this is going, his most popular song might be “Fever Dream,” or it will be tied with it at least. 

“Fever Dream” was created for Warren’s wife, Kouvr, which definitely shows how much he loves her because this isn’t the only song he’s written about her. He’s also written “Ordinary” and made a wedding version of the song. 

Unlike “Ordinary,” which has a more preachy vibe to it, “Fever Dream” is more of an upbeat hit and talks about the intense, disorienting, and sudden experience of falling for someone when you’re ready to give up on love. It was how he felt about his wife when they first met. 

The song has definitely gotten so popular in the first 2 hours it was released, it might be his number one song for a while.
