Nova is currently a junior at Oakmont High School. This is their third semester in Journalism. They love reading and are currently working their way through the must-read young adult books, and attempting to cross off as many things as possible from their ever-growing To Be Read list. They've been writing stories since before Kindergarten, and making way too complex art projects since before that. Defined by not only the physical things they surround themself with, such as their friends and the mishmash of handmade items decorating their room, but also by the things they stand for, Nova will continue to use their skills and passions to do everything they can for those around them and to fight for what they believe in. Navigating life as a teenager, and life in our current society is hard, but Nova hasn't let any of that stop them yet, and they are determined not to let any of it stop them from remaining ambitious and accomplishing their goals both in high school and well into the future.
