Varsity football team played against Placer
Peter Constant tries to catch the football.
On October 18, the varsity football team traveled to Auburn to take on the Placer Hillmren, and lost 17-7.
“Our team definitely did well on defense and keeping Placer off the field which was our plan to stop them,” senior Cye Aguilar said.
During the second quarter of the game, senior Danny Clark had a four yard rushing touchdown. Placer answered the touchdown with one of their own to finish the first half.
The game turned into a defensive battle with neither team scoring anymore points, ending the game with a score of 17-7.
“The team needs to work on getting our offense back in gear and working together more,” junior Peter Constant said. “If we succeed, we will win against Rio Linda this week.”
