Varsity girls go to league tournament
To kick off the week, the varsity girls golf team traveled to Haggin Oaks Golf Course to play in their second league tournament of the year.
“I think one of the most important things in golf is to be prepared, not only mentally, but [having] what club you’re going to use in mind,” sophomore Sammi Landaeta said.
The team is now placed third in their division, and hope to only improve more as the season continues.
“We stayed positive throughout most of the tournament,” Landaeta said. “[We] not only stayed positive about how the scores were going to turn out, but also encouraged the opposing team to stay positive.”
