Rockstar Games, the studio behind the best-selling “Grand Theft Auto” games, is facing allegations based on the Epstein Files. Specifically, the former president of the company, Leslie Benzies, was accused of sexually assaulting Sarah Ransome, a survivor of Epstein’s Island. Benzies is now the president of Build a Rocket Boy Games, leaving the company to Sam Houser.
The Epstein Files are a series of documents that contains the names of and evidence against sex offenders, pedophiles, and others, who have correlation to Jeffery Epstein or have been on his island.
In an email Ransome wrote, “Benzie seem[ed] as if he invented the throwing of money at a ‘prostitute’ on me, then sexually assaulted me afterwards . . . Leslie also visited me in NY and knew what was happening and gave me the money to book my ticket to NY . . .” Ransome also advises authorities to check Benzies’ bank account to show the purchases of the tickets.
On the other hand, Benzies has denied any allegations, stating that he had no involvement with Epstein.
Benzies has also left the role of Build a Rocket Boy Games president to Mark Gerhard, a British game developer. According to Build a Rocket Boy Games, Benzies’ absence was a “long-planned holiday” after working on the games. However, this leave happened around the same time of the Epstein Files release, leading some to believe that there’s more to the story than just a vacation. He is scheduled to come back on Mar. 1, 2026.
In her email, Ransome continues to explain that Sam Houser, the new president of Rockstar Games, knew that Benzies was illegally dating Ransome, and she threatens to spill what Houser and his “Rockstar North boys really get up to behind the scenes.”
So here’s the big question: is “Grand Theft Auto 6” being delayed again? Fortunately, the answer is no, unless the situation escalates further. Ransome has already accused Benzies and Houser, but as of the moment, Benzies is denying the claims.
Even with Benzies and Houser facing allegations, it doesn’t seem like it’ll affect the release date of “GTA6”, thankfully. If all goes smoothly, then it should still come out on Nov. 19th, 2026.
