Fall is here, and that means cool weather, sweatshirts, and new fall drinks at every coffee shop to try.

One popular coffee shop at the moment is Dutch Bros. Coffee, who released two new drinks this year inspired by the fall season.

Dutch Bros has risen in popularity lately, and has generated revenue of around $3.2 million per store over the last year. To put this in perspective, Starbucks only generated revenue of around $2.5 million per store over the last year. People have been loving the cheaper prices, great customer service, and the fun, unique names Dutch Bros use to label their drinks.

The Cinnamon Swirl Oat Milk Latte is 1 of the 2 new drinks Dutch Bros released this fall, and the drink definitely lives up to its name. The strong cinnamon aftertaste with the subtle taste of the oat milk makes for the perfect pair. I loved how there was no sour coffee taste and how the flavors mixed so well. Although, the only thing that I found that I didn’t like was that it didn’t scream “fall” to me. Nothing about it made me think that this drink was made for fall.

But something Dutch Bros could do to fix this is add more fall flavors that go with the cinnamon, such as fruit notes, more specifically apples. Apples partner well with cinnamon and also gives it more of a fall taste.

But with that aside, this drink was still very good and perfect for the non-caffeine lovers who still need a good energy boost to start the morning.

The drink also has a variety of ways it can be made to fit everyone’s preferred drinking styles. It can be ordered as a Cold Brew, Breve, or Freeze.

Next is the Caramel Pumpkin Brûlée Breve, which so far, has been getting really popular on social media, with many good reviews.

After trying the drink I was let down tremendously. The drink tasted bland and mediocre, although the flavors mixed well, and I didn’t get that awful sour aftertaste I get after drinking most pumpkin-flavored coffee, I still thought that it could’ve been better.

If you’re looking for coffee with not too much flavor but not too much coffee either, I would recommend this drink for you. If you want to get into the fall spirit but still love your plain iced coffee, this drink is perfect.

As for pricing, I’d say it is pretty reasonable. A small is $3.00; medium is $3.50, and a large is $4.00. The Cinnamon Swirl Oat Milk Latte is definitely worth every penny. A Starbucks small is almost as expensive as a Dutch Bros large, retailing at $3.75, so I’d say you should definitely check out Dutch Bros for good coffee and cheaper prices.

All in all, Dutch Bros does deliver when it comes to fall drinks, and both were good, and way less expensive than Starbucks. But obviously the Cinnamon Swirl Oat Milk Latte stood out more to me, and I recommend that to everyone who wants to try something new.
