On Feb. 21, Oakmont Vikings Varsity basketball lost against the Whitney Wildcats, 57-59.

Shooting guard Zach Roberts didn’t like the way they started off the game. However, he remarked that the team gave their everything on the court.

“We didn’t perform as well as we wanted but we fought back, we were down double digits in the fourth and we never turned on each other,” Roberts said. “We stayed together and played for one another, we got the game close enough where we had a shot to win and that’s all anyone asks for. As much as losing sucks, we played our hearts out.”
