SZA’s New Single Hits Different in Fans’ Hearts

R&B singer releases new song after three years

SZA recently came out with a new single called “Hit Different”   featuring Ty Dolla $ign after fans begged for a new music release.

SZA is an American singer who rose to fame after her debut album CTRL came out in 2017. She is also known for her song “All The Stars” with Kendrick Lamar from the movie, “Black Panther.”

The song has 8.7 million views on Youtube within the first week of it being released. The song is currently placed at number 72 on Spotify’s Top 200 Chart and 50 on Apple’s top 100. 

The R&B singer’s song is about a love with someone that she misses. “Hit Different” has an edge to the song, but  fans are in love.

In an interview with Apple Music, SZA stated,  “I just really want to put out more music and more—this body of work that I’ve been working on . . . everything sounds different,” she said. “But it all sounds like me. But I realized . . . as long as the essence of me is in it I’m not really stressed about continuity or making sense to anybody. I’ve been making a lo t of music.”

SZA directed her music video for “Hit Different” and viewers love it. The music video has a Y2K vibe with rustic colors, but as SZA wears a beautiful blue, green, and yellow outfit. She shocked fans with a beautiful scene with her standing in a desert looking gracefully at the camera.

As viewers and listeners are in love with SZA’s music and music videos, we can’t wait to see what else she has in store for us.
