India Marie Sharma-Hume is a freshman in high school and excited to see what this new environment has to offer. She is passionate about reading and writing and even has her own author pen pal, who she writes to frequently. She also loves playing video games and wants to branch out from playing the same type of video games, which is mainly Super Mario. Ever since she was a child, she’s wanted to volunteer at an animal shelter. She loves dogs and they bring her joy, so she wants to return the favor. When she turned 13, her mom signed both of them up for Placer SPCA. She loved working and spending time with the dogs. When COVID-19 came into America, she had to stop volunteering, which broke her heart. She loves spending time with family and friends and adores her dog, Chloe. When something tragic happened to her and her family, Chloe was always there, ready to support her no matter what. Since her grandfather died, she’s been different ever since, he was her best friend and she has to watch him die. He was also more of a father than her father ever was, who was always distant, controlling, and manipulative. She is very strong and doesn’t let anyone who tells her otherwise. She always loved proving others wrong who tried putting her down.
