On October 25, Oakmont High School had its annual bonfire. People arrived in large groups bringing lawn chairs and blankets. After everyone had settled in, a timer started to countdown the time to the lighting of the fire. At first, the fire chief had some trouble getting the wood to catch fire. After getting a flare into the middle of the wood pile, it set ablaze kicking off the talent show. The performers were:

“It was very entertaining and fun,” senior Shane Mendoza said. “I really enjoyed the performances, they were very entertaining and fun as well. I enjoyed seeing all of Oakmont’s talent.”
