Raul Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz is known as the singer/rapper Rauw Alejandro. Rauw Alejandro is 31 years old and is from San Juan, Puerto Rico. In 2014, he moved to the United States and started his music career on SoundCloud.
Since then, the artist has won 2 Latin Grammy awards, 2 Billboard Latin Music Awards, and an iHeart Radio music award.
Alejandro recently released the album “Cosa Nuestra”. The album was released on Nov. 15 and had a total of 18 tracks and 9 features from other artists. “Cosa Nuestra” is Alejandro’s fifth studio album. It was released through Sony Music Latin and Duars Entertainment, which also helped release other artists’ music, such as Fuerza Regida, Nicki Nicole, Nicky Jam, and Ricky Martin.
Artists featured on the album in collaboration with Alejandro include Bad Bunny, Pharrell Williams, Yan Block, Marconi Impara, Alexis & Fido, Fied, Romeo Santos, Laura Pausini, Mr.NaisGai, and Latin Mafia.
The popular feature was “Que Pasaria” with Bad Bunny. Although these are popular artists, one song that stood out more is “ Tu Con El”, a single that Alejandro made a cover of from Frankie Ruiz.
“Cosa Nuestra” was a big hit making no. 1 on Billboard charts on Nov. 30.
The “Cosa Nuestra” tour will begin on Apr. 5, 2025, at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. The tour will have shows in Sacramento, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Fresno, Salt Lake City, Denver, Phoenix, Inglewood, San Diego, Anaheim, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Boston, Brooklyn, Raleigh, Atlanta, Orlando, and Miami.
Tickets go on sale Dec. 13, 2024, at 10 am. The tour is expected to sell out, and iff tickets do sell out, there will be other opportunities to see Alejandro. Alejandro will be going to Puerto Rico, Mexico, Latin America, and Asia.
Although there aren’t any official announcements of special guests, fans are hoping to see Alejandro bring out a special guest to sing one of his new songs on the album. The “Cosa Nuestra” tour is one of those tours you want to see in person.
