Lunchables are a common snack kit that many grew up with. Kids still eat these, as they are easy to find at your local grocery store. They are manufactured by Kraft Heinz and were released nationally in 1989. Lunchables has over 30 different varieties, each containing a drink, a treat, and an entree.
Lunchly is Mr Beast, KSI, and Logan Paul’s newest creation. Each Lunchly contains a small bottle of Prime, a Feastables bar, and an entree. There are 3 different variations: “The Pizza”, “Fiesta Nachos”, and “Turkey Snack ‘Em’s”.
One of Lunchly’s marketing techniques is comparing the nutritional value of their items to Lunchables. Lunchly’s range from 230-360 calories, while Lunchables range from 310-450 calories. Lunchly also contains more protein and less sugar, as well as a significantly bigger amount of electrolytes. Lunchly’s are slightly more expensive than Lunchables, but the seemingly “better” ingredients may be a selling point for consumers.
However, Lunchly has been under fire after YouTuber Rosanna Pansino reviewed Lunchly and it was moldy. Her video was titled “I tried Lunchly… It was MOLDY!,” and was posted on Oct. 19, 2024. She stated how the Lunchlys were set to expire in December, and she bought them the day before.
Pansino’s biggest concern was for the children who would be eating Lunchly.
“This is not safe, especially for the young kids that may not know what mold looks like. They might just eat it,” Pansino said.
After Pansino made her video, rumors started spreading about Lunchly being recalled and discontinued. Eventually, this rumor was debunked by Logan Paul.
“Turkey Stack ‘Ems are not discontinued, stores are still selling them as we speak, they are also still on Kroger’s website which would be crazy for an item that’s discontinued,” Paul said.
There is yet to be a response to the mold found in Rosanna’s Lunchly, and many others who reported the same thing happening to them.
