Taylor swift- an American songwriter who has released ten studio albums and has been singing professionally since she was ten years old. She is now widely considered the most famous woman in the world.
Swift recently went on a tour called “The Eras Tour,” and toward its end released a concert film in thousands of theaters across the globe, capturing the sights and sounds of an authentic Taylor Swift stadium performance.
This film was geared mainly toward her loyal legions of “Swifties,” who were disappointed they missed the concert due to the high cost and scarcity of tickets. The film also aimed at creating new “Swifties” out of casual fans who were curious to see why the film gathered so much attention.
“By creating this movie, I was hoping to give off a surreal experience like you were at an actual real-life concert,” Swift said in an interview with CNN. “I encourage fans to wear outfits based on eras from my albums, make and trade friendship bracelets, sing, and dance.”
Swift kept the fan service going by releasing her movie on Oct. 13 due to her lucky number being 13. She also made movie ticket prices for adults $19.89, based on her album titled “1989”, and $13.13 for kids and seniors, once again referencing her lucky number.
Prior to seeing the film, I was looking forward to seeing whether or not it was going to truly be a concert experience. I was also curious to see if Swift would sing the newly released songs in the movie that she saved and sang for the actual concert.
I saw the movie on Oct. 13 for my birthday with some of my friends. Two of my friends picked the “Lover” album era to dress up as, while I picked her debut country album “Taylor Swift.”
We made traditional Taylor Swift themed bracelets for the movie, consisting of lyrics references from songs or names of Swift’s albums.
It was truly a life-changing event. I loved all the set backgrounds and choreography of the movie; I could watch it again and again.
“The Era’s Tour movie would give off a feel as if you were at the concert,” People said, and I couldn’t agree more. It was the best recreation of the concert I could possibly imagine.
