Jackson Mahomes, social media influencer and brother of Super Bowl-winning quarterback Partick Mahomes, is being investigated by Kansas City police for an alleged assault on Feb. 25.

Mahomes, 22, allegedly kissed 40-year-old owner Apen Vaughn, and shoved a 19-year-old waiter at Aspen’s Restaurant and Lounge.

Vaughn alleges that Mahomes grabbed her by the throat and kissed her at least twice in the basement office of the restaurant.

“He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere,” Vaughn said. “And I’m telling him, pushing him off saying, ‘What are you doing?’ And then he proceeded to do it two more times where the last time I was pushing him off and I can see on the cameras that somebody was outside the office door and I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive.”

Vaugn would later produce a video of the incident, showing Mahomes grabbing her by her throat and kissing her twice. She tells media outlets these advances were unwanted and adding that he may have been drunk.

Mahomes came into the restaurant with five friends and went into the basement office where they wouldn’t allow a waiter down to get his water bottle. The waiter said he was trying to get to an area for employees, but was pushed out by Mahomes and his friends while being told to leave.

Mahomes and his friends would then head to the VIP room, where Vaugn eventually smelled marijuana. Mahomes reportedly asked to speak with Vaugn privately in regards to the shoving incident with the waiter, leading to the incident with Vaugn.

Authorities are currently investigating both of these incidents and updates should be expected in the coming weeks.
