Although Mrs. Price has said goodbye, we have found a new Viking for our College and Career Center.

A warm welcome to Mrs. Headrick, our new technician for the College and Career Center. The College and Career Center is a valuable resource for students in need of help with scholarships, college applications, ASVAB testing, and much more.

“I am looking forward to helping the students learn what resources we have here, there’s so many resources,” Headrick said.

Before Mrs. Hendrick came to Oakmont, she was a home loan processor.

Her inspiration for what she is doing now is her daughter and her mom.

“[My daughter] is a sophomore, and my mom worked at a college,” Headrick said.

Fun things to know about Mrs. Headrick include: she enjoys her music, especially the music artist P!nk, and enjoys spending time with her daughter.

“I grew up in a restaurant; my grandma owned two restaurants,” Headrick said.

With the different experiences Mrs Headrick has had, the Oakmont experience “is exciting and something new for [her].”
