Oakmont’s own rapper, Tyler Eisenbarth, also known as Slushkidd, is known for his music. He got his name from his Xbox gamertag “SlushyMantis716.”

“I get my style from Baby Keem, JID, The Kid Laroi, Cordae, and other people like that,” Eisenbarth said.

Unlike many other rappers, Eisenbarth creates and mixes his own beats, so when he releases a song, the beat is related to the skill level of his mixing at the time.

“Oftentimes, my inspiration is just what I’m listening to in the moment,” Eisenbarth said.

An example of this would be his recent project “Blick Space,” a remix of the song “Blank Space” by Taylor Swift. This song features DomCena and Lil Chzy. Eisenbarth says this is his favorite project that he has made.

“We made some extremely comedic bars for that during history class,” Eisenbarth said.

This really funny song has over 140 streams on Soundcloud.

Most recently, Tyler has dropped an EP with Munchie featuring 10 songs. The EP is titled “Garage Sessions.”

My favorite song on the EP is “Done,” featuring DomCena. I really love the vibes that the beat gives off. All of the lyrics flow really well with the beat and it stood apart from the rest of the EP.

“Irate” features really funny lyrics. “Goofiest song on the tape,” Eisenbarth said.

Eisenbarth says we can expect a lot more from him in the future, with “better beats, better bars, and a lot of buffoonery.” He also said that we can expect more 2010 pop song remixes featuring DomCena and Lil Chzy.

Eisenbarth also wanted to say, “If anyone wants their music mixed, hit me up!”
