The popular show, “That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime” is an isekai story that was written by Fuse and adapted into an anime that first aired in October 2018.

The show is about a man named Satoru Mikami who was stabbed on the streets of Japan and died. He then got reincarnated into a different world as a supposive low level monster, a slime.  With what he was feeling when he died, he gained special abilities that made him an overpowered slime. He is given a new name Rimuru Tempest and as his adventure continues, Rimuru meets many along the way who fight with him against high-level monsters and demon lords.

I loved watching this anime. I personally rate this show a 9/10 because it was comedic, fun and has an interesting plot that keeps viewers engaged. The show is currently in its second season and I am excited every Tuesday when a new episode comes out. If one is just starting out with anime, this show is a must on your watchlist.

Despite the strange title, I definitely recommend watching this anime. Viewing platforms such as Crunchyroll and Funimation are currently airing the show.
