Warriors in Paradise

Klay Thompson out for the remainder of 2019-2020 season.

The Golden State Warriors’ Klay Thompson will be missing the rest of the 2019-2020 season with an ACL tear that he suffered during the sixth game of the NBA Finals.

However, the question is: what does this mean for the Warriors?

Now with Klay Thompson out, the Warriors are down three of their star players they had last year. The Warriors lost Kevin Durant during the recent offseason to free agency; they lost Demarcus Cousins in free agency  as well.

The Warriors have made an appearance in the NBA Finals during each of the last five seasons, winning three of them with Thompson on the team for all.

The pressure is now on Stephen Curry and Draymond Green to try and continue to be the dominant force that the Warriors have been the last five seasons.
