Filipino dramas to watch on Netflix

In the search for a new movie to watch? If so, watch these Filipino dramas and Rom-Coms on Netflix that will take you on an emotional roller coaster.

 

“She’s Dating the Gangster”

Featuring actors such as, Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, this drama set in the ’80s, takes the viewer on a blast to the past when iPhones did not exist and bandanas and square glasses were still a trend. The drama consists of a gangster attempting to win back his ex-girlfriend by making her jealous until he finds himself falling in love with a nerdy girl instead. It contains, many joyful and unhappy moments, including a huge plot twist that changes the gangster’s future forever.

 

“Everyday, I love You”

Starring Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, this movie is about a girl whose boyfriend is in a coma and she ends up finding herself gaining feelings for someone else. Because of this, she is finally able to find her true happiness in life and overcomes her past difficulties.

 

“Can’t Help Falling in Love”

This movie showcases how fate will bring two strangers together. Actors Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo play two strangers who signed an official marriage certificate and accidentally got married when they were drunk and forgot about it. As several years passed, Gab (Kathryn Bernardo) is preparing for her new marriage after her current boyfriend proposed to her, but she soon gets a notice that she is already married to a total stranger.
