Alyssa Ivey is a junior at Oakmont High School and is in her first year in journalism. Alyssa likes to dance, do her nails, and eat at restaurants. She spends most of her time choreographing routines for dance and spending time with family and friends. After she graduates, Alyssa would like to attend cosmetology school to become a licensed nail technician. She hopes to grow and achieve her goals of writing interesting and intriguing stories this semester. Alyssa is passionate about her beliefs and loves helping others. She is always available to talk and is a good listener. Alyssa tries her best to stay positive and looks at the bright side of things even if events don’t go to plan. She hopes that this class will help her understand writing and thinking outside the box.
